Hi! I'm Claire
About me
I am an APHRA-registered psychologist who started at Lifeline in 2017. Since then, I have provided therapeutic interventions and workshops in schools, and offered individual therapy for teenagers and adults in private practice settings.
In my years of practice, I have likely seen someone with similar struggles to you, and I have helped them through the ups and downs in their journey of growth and healing.
I have supported many clients with multiple diagnoses, and pride myself on reconciling the gold standard treatment models with a client’s individual strengths, needs and the practical and confronting realities they face.
I am deeply curious about how a client’s social environment interacts with their core beliefs, autopilot responses and thought patterns. I am passionate about supporting clients to build a life that captialises on their strengths and reduces the unnecessary stressors which maintain their poor mental health.
In short, I would love to help you develop insight and address the roots of your suffering rather than band-aid over the cracks with superficial tips and tricks.
If you reach out, you can expect kindness and non-judgement. You will be heard and understood deeply while you develop coping tools, self-awareness and communication skills to create the thriving life you deserve.
Each session is tailored to fit you and your unique goals and needs.

Modalities
- Acceptance and Commitment Therapy: develops your capacity to be with difficult situations with less pain, observe rather than react to your thoughts and move towards your values.
- Cognitive Behavioural Therapy: develops understanding of your triggers and thoughts to break undesired behavioural patterns. It can also be used to reframe painful experiences and identify the origins of core beliefs that weigh you down and re-write them.
- Dialetical Behavioural Therapy: helps you to regulate the extremes of emotion and piece together the chain of events that lead to self-destructive or unhelpful behaviour. It also helps you build strong interpersonal skills for healthier relationships. In doing so you can break the cycle and build a more stable inner experience.
- Art: integrating music and art into your journey may enable you to better articulate your emotions and process grief, observe challenging emotions with less emotional pain, and grow from trauma and suffering.
